The Dutch office market, with Amsterdam in particular, is entering an extended cycle. Given the positive economic outlook, demand for office space is unlikely to fall in the foreseeable future. Furthermore, a significant rise in supply cannot be expected since new developments have already been pre-leased. This report examines whether Amsterdam be able to maintain – or even strengthen – its competitiveness to consolidate its position as a global city.
