Eindhoven Office Market Profilie - Q3 2011

Occupier sentiment worsened in the third quarter with a number of occupiers retracting their requirements from the market. Whilst the 3,000 sq m lease transaction by IT company 2B interactive in the western periphery of Eindhoven boosted activity, leasing volumes were down considerably on the first half of 2011, with take-up totaling around 7,400 sq m. overall vacancy increased to 13.2% up from 12% in Q2. However, Grade A office space remains particularly tight with a vacancy rate of around 1.2%. Availability of Grade B and C space is higher with a Q3 vacancy rate of 9.4% and 2.6% respectively.
